DORIS BOYKO It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Doris Boyko on May 5, 2008 at the Grace Hospital. She will be dearly missed by her caring husband John, of 63 years; children, Debbie (Dee), Derrick (Pat), and Beverley (Wayne); grandchildren, Aaron (Adrienne), Jarett (Tryphaena), Dustin, Brandi (Warren); great-grandchildren, Skylar and Shelby-Lee, and Spencer; also her sister Lena (Steve); sisters-in-law, Mary (Adam), and Kay; nieces, nephews, and many dear friends. She was born in Calder, SK on March 8, 1918. Besides being a homemaker, she loved gardening, especially her flowers. She was known for making the best pyrogies ever! Doris loved people and spent over 67 years teaching her neighbours the Bible as one of Jehovah's Witnesses, and for the last four years was associated with the Inkster Gardens Congregation. Doris looked forward to God's promise of a paradise on earth where death, pain, and suffering will be no more. (Rev. 21: 3,4) A memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 10 at 1:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1877 Inkster Blvd.
