LENA LOUISE BRACKEN (nee LAMBERT) November 1, 1917 - May 31, 2008 Peacefully Lena passed away May 31, 2008 at the Red River Valley Lodge Personal Care Home in Morris, MB at the age of 90 years. Lena is survived by her one daughter: Merle (Omer) VanMackelberg; two sons: Louis (Joyce) Bracken and Bob (Maureen) Bracken; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lena was predeceased by her husband Joseph William Bracken on May 25, 1988; and one granddaughter: Evelyn Maynard. A memorial service for Lena will be held Friday, June 6, 2008 at the Morris United Church (207 Ottawa Ave. N.) at 1:30 p.m. Inurnment has taken place at the Morris Cemetery. The family wishes to thank the staff for the loving care their mother received at the Red River Valley Lodge. In memory of Lena Bracken donations may be made to the Morris United Church.
