GERALD (JERRY) BOYCEY Gerald Boycey of Leaf Rapids, MB passed away peacefully on Sept 21, 2008 at the Assiniboine Health Centre in Brandon, MB. Gerald was born March 30, 1936 in Edmonton, Alberta. Gerald was in the Navy, worked in Lynn Lake and Leaf Rapids, MB. Gerald also coached hockey for 22 and a half years. He loved fishing, camping, berry picking and long walks in the forest. Gerald is survived by his common-law-wife Cynthia Greenham, her children Kimberly, Trina (Edward) Morris, Crystal (Colin) DeJaegher. His son Brian (Anna) and daughter Barbara (Ted), grandchildren Cole Boycey, Jemedie Morris, Eden Morris, Kenneth Morris and Jeri-Lynn DeJaegher, and by his sister Heather Bouwman. Gerald was predeceased by his wife Edna, mother, father and brothers Darcy and Ronnie. A Celebration of Life service was held in Brandon on September 28, 2008. A memorial service will be held in Leaf Rapids, MB on October 4, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. Gerald will be laid to rest the the Leaf Rapids Cemetery. He will be greatly missed by his family and many many friends.
