Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryYVONNE BOULET (nee BOURRIER) Peacefully on Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at Taché Centre, Yvonne passed away at the age of 91. Yvonne was predeceased by her husband Paul; brothers, Jean, Romain, Aurele and Rodolphe and her sisters, Lucille and Odile. Yvonne will lovingly be remembered by her five children: Robert (Paulette), Roger (Angela) of Calgary, Donald (Marie-Sylvie) of Orleans, Ontario, Gerry (Donna) of Ottawa, Ontario, Annette Boone (Ken), as well as 14 grand-children and 14 great-grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn her two sisters: Carmelle and husband Gordon Cross and Théresa and husband Denis Clement; her sisters-in-law, Lucienne, Claire, and Doris Bourrier, and also brother-in-law Félix Boulet, many cousins, nieces and nephews. Mom owned and operated Yvonne's Restaurant across from the St. Boniface Hospital until fire destroyed the building in January of 1967. Mom was involved with her sister Lucille in the flower business as owners of Park Florist. Over those years they became well known and respected by the people in the community making many lifetime friends. After retiring from the flower business, mom continued to keep busy with her love of cooking and baking. She was known for her soups and pies. She loved to be surrounded by her family and friends enjoying entertaining them. She also enjoyed knitting, needlepoint, singing and travelling. A special thank you to all the staff at Taché Centre 3ABC for their care and compassion towards mom during the last 11 years. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, December 22 at Cathédrale de Saint-Boniface. Interment will follow at Green Acres Memorial Gardens.
