Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARION STREICH (nee BACZEWICH) I had a pretty wonderful life! I was born on May 25, l947 and left this life on March 2, 2009. I was born in Selkirk, Manitoba. Jim and I were married in August, l967 and I lived most of my married life in Clandeboye, Manitoba. Besides my beloved husband, Jim, I was blessed with, and am survived by, two sons and daughters-in-law, Terry (Ciara Shattuck) and David (Tanya Beck), and my sweet grand-daughter, Miranda who has added even more joy to my life. Then two adorable grandsons, Logan and Evan were born - yet more joy. I am also survived by my brother, Don Baczewich (Phyllis) and family, sister, Rita (Dan) Johnston, sister, Diane (Chris) Walker, brother-in-law, Garry (Margaret) Streich, brother-in-law, Herb (Audrey) and their families. I was predeceased by my mother and father, Alida and Frank Baczewich, and my mother-in-law and father-in-law, Meta and Bill Streich. I loved to laugh and had so much laughter thanks to my loving family and dear friends. I believed You have earned this day on earth if you have made someone smile . I loved my home in the country, flowers, gardening, golfing, and birds - especially chickadees. Taking pictures of all the things I loved was also very special to me. Grandchildren pictures are the best. Flowers are gratefully declined. If friends so desire, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. In accordance with my definite wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. I ask instead that you remember me with my family or a friend and share a few laughs and I hope I have provided you with some during my stay on this earth. I also ask that you remember the following: You mustn't tie yourself to me with tears. Be happy that we had so many years. I thank you for the love you each have shown, But now it's time I travelled on alone. Thank you for being a special part of my life. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk, in care of arrangements.
