Addie (as she was known by most) passed away at the age of 68 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her children; Barb, Darrel (Karen), Kevin (Robin), Karen (Chris) Teasdale, Kerri (Chuck) and grandchildren; Tyler and Sara Teasdale. She will also be dearly missed by her siblings; Shirley Peterson and Clarence (Heida) Koch, brother-in-law, Stewart Cheyne and numerous nephews and nieces. Adele was predeceased by her daughter, Loreen; sisters, Elaine Slobodianek and Roxy Cheyne; and her parents, Stanley and Jeanne Irwin. Adele enjoyed her many treasured friendships that she developed working for many years at the Teulon Golf Club, living at Fairview and through her Coffee Club. She loved to entertain and was an amazing cook. Many people (young and old) enjoyed her warm hospitality. Addie's music career started at an early age playing piano for the Teulon United Church and continued throughout her life entertaining family, friends and carolers. In the last few years, although life slowed down, her treasured grandchildren; Tyler and Sara, were always a highlight in her day. A special thank you to the dedicated staff at the Teulon Hunter Memorial Hospital, Deer Lodge and the Health Science Centre (especially the Renal Unit) for their exceptional care. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Teulon Rockwood Centennial Centre. Rev. Patricia Baker will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to H.S.C. Foundation or the Kidney Foundation. Mom, we will miss you but you will be in our hearts forever. Grandma, we will never forget you. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Teulon in care of arrangements.
