LEONARD ALBERT BOWERMAN February 7, 1928 - May 17, 2009 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Leonard Albert Bowerman on May 17, 2009 at the age of 81 years at the Victoria General Hospital. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Joan; his children Kathy and Jay; his grandchildren, Gabrielle, Renee, Tyler and Kelsey. Len loved life to the fullest. He enjoyed working on his stamp collection, visiting the neighbours, spending time in the backyard taking care of the flowers. He also took pleasure in reading a good book on the patio. Len was a great person, a wonderful husband to Joan and a father we are very proud of. It warms our hearts to know that you are at peace and are comfortable. We will all miss you! Thanks to the staff at Victoria General Hospital, 5th floor for their support and understanding during his stay. A private get together will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, consider donations to Alzheimer or the Heart and Stroke Foundations.
