Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPAUL BOHAY March 26, 1915 - July 13, 2009 On Monday, July 13, 2009, with family by his side, Paul passed away at Grace Hospital. He is survived by his daughter Bev Bugera of Thompson and son Richard (Linda) of Winnipeg, grandchildren Russ Bugera (Liz Nomland) of Calgary, Richard Bugera (Laurie Mills) of Kelowna, Trevor (Michele) Bugera of Edmonton, Rob Bohay of Winnipeg, Doug Bohay of Toronto, Lesley Bohay of Montreal and great grandchildren Kaden, Isabelle and Graham. He is also survived by his sister Sophie Waldie and numerous nieces, nephews and their families and friends. Paul was predeceased by his wife Nell, his brothers Stanley, Michael and Nicholas and his sisters Nellie Walczak, Anne Zloty and Teenie Gerus, and his son-in-law Myron Bugera. Paul was born in Gimli, living most of his life in Winnipeg. At a young age he found an aptitude for working within the building trade and was an accomplished carpenter. He was employed with Commonwealth Construction for many years and ended his career as a construction superintendent with VK Mason. His family were the lucky recipients of his many projects. He was always willing to share his expertise. He had a love of fishing and spent many hours pursuing this interest and enjoyed introducing his grandchildren to the sport as well. He was an honorary member of Branch 141 Royal Canadian Legion for many years. After leaving his home in Norwood, he moved to Fred Douglas Place, Fred Douglas Heritage House and then finally to Deer Lodge Centre, where he was treated with excellent care and concern for his well being. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held.
