ALAN A. BOALER September 27, 1923 - August 31, 2009 With great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our father, Alan Boaler, of Carey, Manitoba. He will always be remembered as a very loving and caring husband and father. Al was devoted to Yvette, his loving wife of 45 years. They loved travelling, gardening, and spending time with friends and family. Farming was his passion and he spent his entire life involved in the farming community. Al is survived by his children Jeannette (Paul) Ruest, Réal (Eveline) Turenne, Michel Turenne, Joanne (Martin) Geurts, Ronald (Bonnie) Turenne, 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Colin, his sisters-in-law Trudy Boaler, Annette Forest, Suzanne Proulx, Marie St. Jean, Lauriana Audette, Bernice Preteau, Lola Preteau; the Turenne family and many nieces and nephews. Al was predeceased by his loving wife Yvette, his parents Arthur and Sarah Boaler, his brothers George, Henry and Lewis, his sisters Nora Johnson, Lillian Leach, Elsie Nicol and Mary Brad. A funeral service will be held at the Morris United Church in Morris, Manitoba on Friday, September 4 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Bob and Myrna Stark will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 200-6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB., R3L 0K6.   • The many good memories I have of my uncle Al will always remain with me. His way of life and how he treated family and friends was an example of how people should be. I know that he is once again with the love of his life my aunt Yvette. My sympathy to my cousins and extended family.
