Ray is survived by his beloved dad Phillip Boulay, brothers Hanley, Rod (Jeanette), Dan, sister Laurie Flaherty (Jim), sister-in-law Pat Boulay as well as nephews Jason and Randy Boulay, nieces Angela and Leah and their extended families. Ray's most cherished relationship was with his godson Shaun Matenchuk. There was a bond there that never could be broken. Ray was proud of Shaun and always treated him like he was his own. Ray was predeceased by his beloved mother Lorraine Boulay in 2009 and his brother Greg in 2000. Ray was educated at Rockwood Elementary School, Grant Park High School and Tec Voc Vocational School. He received his grade 11 standing and then worked at I.T.T. He later showed interest in being an electrician. He worked many years wiring houses for Jet Electric MB Ltd. Ray was incredibly talented in many areas in the construction field. He was a perfectionist when it came to building anything. In 1988, Ray suffered a heart attack and had to stop working.
