PHILMA MARGUERITE BRAY (nee PADDOCK) Our beloved mother, Philma Marguerite, went home quite suddenly to be with Jesus on Sunday, November 15, 2009 in Steinbach, Manitoba at the age of 80 years. Remaining to forever cherish Philma's memory are her two daughters, Susanne (Jimmy), Cynthia (Henry); very special sister, Shirley; seven grandchildren, Angela, Rick (Ronnie), Jaynie, Troy, Kimberley, Cassandra and Joshua; seven great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws; as well as her good friend, Mary Enns. She was predeceased by her son David in 1973 and more recently, her husband, Herbert in 2006. Philma was born in Winnipeg and raised in Elkhorn, Manitoba. Growing up, music was her passion, as she became an accomplished Classical Pianist and sang in many church choirs. She always enjoyed listening to The Gaithers music. Her top priority in life was spending time with the Lord Jesus in His Word and in prayer. Working hard always played a part in Philma's life and when time would allow, she enjoyed her family and her cat, Angel. Her favourite hobby was creating assorted ceramic pieces that she shared with all of us. In compliance with Philma's wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. Thanks to the Bethesda staff for your wonderful, compassionate care! We will all miss her!
