DOROTHY MAE DRISCOLL MY LOVE A letter to my wife Dorothy God has taken you more than a year ago and yet you are here with me. I think I see you at times and I turn to look, you smile and then you are gone and I am sad. I remember every day of our life together as though it was yesterday. I remember the love we had for each other, both in good times and bad. I remember the warmth of holding you in my arms and the joy of loving you and though I try not to; I cry and I cry, until I can cry no more. I am lonesome, lonesome for you, our many years of marriage seems like a day. Sometimes I wonder if my life is worth while now that you are no longer at my side to encourage me and then I see you at a glance and you smile and you are gone. Perhaps sometime soon I will come to you. I have no idea when, but I promise you that I will do nothing to hasten that day, although the temptation is there. I love you my sweetheart with all that I have. When, in my thoughts, I touch you, or kiss you, or hold you, I know that our life together was really worth while. Your loving husband Leonard.
