ANETTE UTA MUELLER October 20, 1961 - February 10, 2010 Anette Mueller passed from this life in Germany with her partner Bruce by her side. She is survived by her parents Lizi and Emil Mueller, her brother Peter and sister Heidi as well as cousins, nieces and nephews in Germany. She will be missed by friends all over the world, especially Winnipeg, which became home to her. Anette came from a place called, 'Waldfriede', meaning 'Peaceful Forest', where she grew up in a small town in Germany, but her reach was far, and to many in Canada. Like the tall, strong, steady trees in that forest, Her spirit and will in life too, were unwavering. The wind that blows makes the roots of the tree grow deeper and the tree stronger. And so was her journey and spirit, In Life. She went to many places, in the world. Like the colour and deepness of the Caribbean Sea, So were her eyes. Like the brightness of the prairie sky, So was her smile. Like the endless horizon of the Canadian land, So was her adventurous energy. Like the wonders of the world, Her beauty too, was wonderful and vast. Oh, how she loved God's gifts of nature, Swimming in the ocean, hiking, camping and exploring new places in the world, Smelling flowers, riding horses and walking with Silky. Her ways and words made us laugh. Even to the end of her days, she longed to have purpose and make a difference in people. She has touched lives, saved lives, and helped life grow. Like the trees that make the forest, the soil to the land, and the waters of the sea. She has brightened and brought joy to the lives of many people. Her purpose in this life is fulfilled. And goes on ... Now she goes ahead of us, to the Next place. She is with the Lord. Where we can see her again. Till we meet again. Anette, you are loved, forever and ever... Cherish every moment, when you are with the ones you love. A celebration of Anette's life will be held by her friends in Winnipeg at a date, time and place to be announced.
