  • We miss our "little sis" so much - she had so much going! What an amazing lady she was! She left us far too soon. With her vibrant personality she attracted friends from one side of the globe to the other. Her accomplishments were many but she remained humble. At 17 years of age she went North to cook on construction Co.'s, worked at various other jobs in Mb and Ab and years later she went back and finished her education and went to U of M and became a school teacher before she was 30! She taught school for a number of years in Mb then moved back to Alberta where she taught school, became a Nanny, opened various home based business' and this is where she had a vision to provide opportunity for amature singers to perform and become known, "Alberta Men & Women of Country Singers" was birthed! It was here in Alberta that she passed away unexpectedly. The "Highlight of her life" for Dianne was in 1987 at the Lundar Centennial celebrations in Lundar, Mb Dianne was presented with a "trip to England" to visit her biological mother, a meeting she cherished dearly and the beginning of a wonderful relationship! This is 3 years later and we miss her like it was yesterday! We miss the cheery phone calls, her "How are ya, sis?" rings in my ears still. She truly was a remarkable person, I was so proud of my "little sis". Until we meet again... - Posted by: Ralph & Dorothy Cook (LIFELONG FRIENDS ) on: Nov 16, 2013
