GARY MADISON BRAYSHAW With great sorrow, we are announcing the passing of Gary Madison Brayshaw, aged 64, on October 23, 2010 in Surigao Del Sur, Philippines. He is survived by his partner Erlinda; his three sons Gary, Glen, and Scott; daughter-in-law Megan; grandchildren Kaiden and Zander; mother Velma Victoria; siblings Wayne, Linda, Nadine, Harley, Grant, Allison, Karla, Jacqueline, and Robert; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Gary was predeceased by his father Glenn; grandmother Edna; nieces Tammy and Cheryl; stepfather Robert; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Gary was born August 12, 1946 in Saskatchewan and spent most of his life in Winnipeg where he married Joan and raised their sons together there. Throughout the course of his life he immersed himself in many endeavors and passions including writing, music, photography, cycling; and was always happy to share fascinating stories of his adventures and experiences. It had been a dream of his to travel to the Philippines and establish a new life there, a dream which he had seen through and delighted him. His loving Erlinda was at his side until the end and will always cherish the time they had together. Services to be conducted by Reverend James Ronald McCollough at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 256 Smith St. in Winnipeg at noon on Friday, November 19, 2010. Interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery.
