MERLE CAROLINE BRASIER (nee SMYTH) 1944 - 2010 Peacefully on Thursday, November 18, 2010, Merle Brasier passed away after a courageous battle with cancer at the Grace Hospital at the age of 66 years. Remaining to forever cherish Merle's memory are her sons Eric and Doug; brothers Cliff, Stan, Tom and Ken Smyth; sister Myrna Tweed as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Christopher; parents James and Ida Smyth; sisters Rhea Stott and Nancy Belliveau. Merle was employed by the Winnipeg School Division as an Educational Assistant at Cecil Rhodes and Rockwood Schools. In compliance with Merle's wishes, there will be no funeral service. The family would like to thank the staff at the Grace Hospital for their caring efforts. In lieu of flowers, donations in Merle's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice. You will always be in our hearts.
