JACK BOITSON It is with sadness we announce the quiet passing of our father Jack Boitson on February 8, 2011. Dad died peacefully through the night in his room at the Evergreen House residential care facility in North Vancouver, BC. He was 81 years old. Our father was predeceased by his second wife, our stepmother, Merilyn Fitzelle-Boitson. He is survived by his five children and eight grandchildren: daughter Brenda Taylor of Stratford, ON, grandson Justin Leydier of Kenora, ON, grandson Rory Leydier, granddaughter Breanna Taylor and grandson Daniel Taylor of London, ON; daughter Marilee Boitson of North Vancouver, BC, grandsons Brendan Searle of Mississauga, ON and Kieran Millard of North Vancouver, BC; son Brent Boitson of London, ON; daughter Jackie Macdonald and granddaughters Catherine and Laura Macdonald of London, ON; and daughter Tracey Boitson of Exeter, ON. Dad was born in St. Andrews, MB on February 25, 1929 and grew up in the Winnipeg Beach area with his parents Jessie and Andrew Boitson. At Dad's request, cremation has taken place and his ashes will be interred at the Winnipeg Beach Cemetery, with a marker to commemorate his passing and the passing of both his parents.
