YVONNE BOYD (nee BIBEAU) Peacefully, with her son at her side, Yvonne passed away on Friday, April 22, 2011 at Beacon Hill Lodge at the age of 93 years. Yvonne is lovingly remembered by her son Ken (Sandra), daughter Roberta, grandchildren Robyn (Alex), Shannon and Paula, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Arthur, grandson Chris and great-granddaughter Layla. The family would like to thank the staff on the 9th floor of Beacon Hill Lodge for their care and compassion. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 6 at 1:00 p.m. at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 DesMeurons Street. Interment of the cremated remains will follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Room ON1160, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9. Mom, your piano playing will be missed by all.
