• So sad dr riordan was my first doctor from my late teens 1987- -1999 on river ave!I went to see him after a couple yrs out of province and he had moved to wardlaw then shortly after was gone! Was told he retired! Around 05 I had the luck of randomly finding him again by hearing his voice in another room while was at Medi center and polo park seeing a different doctor, which was wonderful because I needed a referral to see a doctor that very difficult to get new patients an appointment to see him, and when I mentioned the guys name dr riordan knew the guy well and got me in ahead of a list that was 6-9 months down the road! Saved my bacon and helped me immensely after he calls the guy on the spot! I will always remember I came back 6 months later to thank him and he had went back into retirement He was a very kind and attentive man! Unlike many Drs then and now he took the time to actually and sincerely listen to his patients, instead of rushing and brushing off what you said to him!They don’t make that anymore, I’m sure wherever he is now he’s sharing the round table of heroes! • He was my doctor for at least 20 years, and I never had any problems with him. Very kind, always polite, and never judged anyone. He was there for me, whatever issue I had when I needed help. • I was a patient at his clinic on River Avenue years ago. I ran into him again at the Health Sciences Centre. I was going through radiation at the same time he was. I was so sad to see he was ill. I got to speaking to both himself and Kevin in the waiting area on numerous occasions. Just heard now that he had passed on a few years ago. I was sad to hear. • DR. RIORDAN was our family doctor in Winnipeg for at least 12 years prior to our moving away from the city in 2000. He was very thorough as he exhausted all searches in order to acquire a diagnosis. At the time my husband was so ill that he had to quit work. 'Paddy' was vigilant and went to bat for us. Later my mother died and he was most supportive for my grief.
