LUCIA (LUCY) BOILY (nee HOKSBERGEN-STOKVIS) April 14, 1942 - June 9, 2011 Sadly, with her family at her side, Lucy passed away on June 9, 2011. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Nadine (Gilles), Bernard (Mimi) and Alison (Peter), as well as her grandchildren: J.P., Robert, André, Anita, Anthony, Emily, Tyler and Dylan. Mom was born in Mozambique, South Africa and immigrated to Holland in 1944 and to Canada in 1954. She met and married Gerry and they had 43 years together until his death in 2006. She was a hands on Grandma who loved to spend time with her grandchildren and never missed an opportunity to be with them. Her last years were spent as an active member of the Red Hat Society (Rockin' Reds). The events were always anticipated and enjoyed to the fullest. We would like to thank the dedicated staff at Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach for their kind and compassionate care. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14, at the Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 DesMeurons Street. Interment will take place at a later date.
