Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALEXANDER BOYNOWSKI It is with great sadness that the family of Alexander Boynowski announces that on June 27, 2011, at the age of 88, Alexander passed away at the Seven Oaks Hospital. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of 59 years, Sally; son Giles (Cathy); daughter Cheryl (Keith); grandchildren Jeremy, Jared, Tyler and Matthew; step-grandchildren Jennifer, Michelle and Daniel; step-great-grandchildren Tylor, Madison, Jaidyn, Abbigale, Declan and Cassidy; sisters-in-law Eleanor and Carrie; many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his son Claude, brother Bill, brother-in-law Emil Harik, nephew Wayne Harik, and son-in-law Shane Keele. Alex attended school in Winnipeg, graduating from St. John's High School. He worked at McDonalds Aircraft Metal shop and received a Triple A rating. Hart Emerson (CEA Simon-Day) was the next place of employment. Alex was there for over 40 years, moving to foreman after 15 years, and ultimately a data processing engineer retiring in 1988. Alex was an active member at St. Ivan Suchavsky Cathedral for many years. Many thanks to all the caregivers at Seven Oaks Hospital for their excellent care and compassion. Also thanks to all the friends and family for the visits, cards, and prayers. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 2 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Rev. Fr. Alexander Harkavyi officiating. Interment to take place at a later date. Pallbearers will be Jerry Harik, Allan Harik, Keith Stilborn, Clarence Kohut, Mike Lozinski, Jim Magas. Honorary Pallbearers are Don Boynowski, Brian Harik and Cory Harik. In lieu of flowers, donations in Alex's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
