EMMA BOGGS Peacefully at the Emerson Personal Care Home, our mother Emma Boggs (nee Alstadt), passed away August 2, 2011. Mom was born March 6, 1908 in Greenridge to Emil and Emilge Alstadt. She was predeceased by her husband, Emil Boggs. She was a lifelong member of the Lutheran Church; she will be remembered for her love of gardening, superb cooking and baking. Emma is survived by her children Alvin, Elmer (Elma), Gary (Lori), five grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Mary Alstadt and numerous nieces and nephews. A private graveside service will be held in Dominion City, August 5, 2011 The family thanks the staff at the Emerson Personal Care Home for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers in memory of Emma, donations may be made to the Zion Lutheran Church (Box 419, Emerson, MB R0A 0L0) Arrangements entrusted to Morris Funeral Home 204-746-2451
