JAMES ALBERT DALTON BRAGG Peacefully at home with his family by his side, James Albert Datlon Bragg, a golden heart stopped beating and his hard working hands laid to rest at the age of 50 years. Jimmy grew up in West St. Paul and graduated with a Journeyman's carpentry degree from Red River College in 1989. Jim started his own business, (JB Woodworking Construction) was very loyal to his clients, and took great pride in his work. Jimmy was known for being the guy that built it right the first time. He built several things but his specialty was stair building. He loved spending time at the property, and especially working with his father. Jim liked spending winters with his wife, visiting his friends in California. Jim was especially proud to have built all of his brother's houses. One of Jim's final wishes was to see his own house finished in Petersfield for his loving wife. So by Jimmy giving instructions; his father was once again by his side, completing his final dream. Left to cherish his memory is his parents, Beverly and James Bragg, and the love of his life his wife Chrissy Panas, whom he recently wed on June 4, 2011. James is survived by his stepchildren, Brandon and Brooklyn Doty. He also leaves to mourn his three fantastic brothers who he cherished dearly, and were his inspiration throughout his illness, David (Jody) Marlee, Jade; Russell (Trish) Cody, Ryden, Teagen; and Gord (Trisha) Cole, Payton, Parker. James was a proud godfather to Tegan, Parker and Kyle DeBeer. Jim had numerous caring friends whom he treasured, and sincerely enjoyed their companionship. A special thank you to all his caregivers at CancerCare, especially Dr. Adi and Dr. McCarthy. Sincere thank you also to Candace and Amanda from IRHA. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, August 8 at 7:00 p.m. at the Sunova Centre 48 Holland Rd, West St. Paul with The Rev. Canon Richard Condo officiating. • I used to be in a foster home down the street at Mrs Jean Orm. I remember playing hockey in their flooded homemade ice rink, I was a goalie and Russell and I were friends. I still consider him a friend even though it has been over 30 yrs. Sorry for your loss. I remember the older boys sticking up for me at school and their friendliness and kindness. You're all very kind people and I will never forget that. - Posted by: Ron Henderson (friend of Russell) on: Jan 17, 2012
