  • Mr.Prieston, offered me and friend a ride one afternoon, and then let us stay in his home. He and his wife Sally was the nicest people a person could ever meet. • the best person and dad anyone could have ever met. 'truly the man that would give people the shirt off his back - Posted by: george prieston (son) on: Jun 27, 2013

  • George gave me shelter in the winter of 1967, fed me and taught me to repair vehicles. We were poor together, along with Eric Hertell, Linda Desjardin, Wayne and Bobby Arthur, Roy & Kathy & Sally & Josie & Sharon & George Sr. He was like a brother to me. I knew his wife, brothers and sisters and was there when George III was born. George was a good man and I'll never forget beating on the creeps rolling the drunken Indians in the laneway behind the National Hotel Saturday nights. I looked you up too late, old friend. Rest in peace! - Posted by: Carl Guerin (former tenant at Selkirk Avenue.) on: Sep 28, 2012
