NORMA N. DIZON 1946 - 2011 Peacefully with family by her side, Norma (nee Nieves) passed away at St. Boniface General Hospital, on November 15, 2011 at the age of 65 years old. Norma is predeceased by her parents Raul and Victoria Nieves and father-in-law Luis N. Dizon. Norma leaves to mourn her husband Manny; children Rayan and Megan; grandson Isaiah; sisters Cindy Kyung (Myung Soo), Luth and Lailani Nieves; mother-in-law Leonor Dizon; sister and brothers-in-law Malu and Tony Dizon of Vancouver BC; niece Janah Kyung; cousins Meyen and Lina Pimentel (Ceejay); and many more family relatives in the Philippines. Norma was born in Naga City, Camarines Sur on August 7, 1946. She graduated from Centro Escolar University with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. She taught in Montessori School prior to coming to Canada in November 1971. She worked in St. Boniface General Hospital for 35 years until her retirement in 2008. Lamay will be held on Sunday, November 20, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. to midnight at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Interment will be on Monday, November 21, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. Reception to follow.
