HELEN KESSLER 1926 - 2011 Peacefully on November 24, 2011, at Victoria Hospital, Helen passed away with her family at her side. She was born on June 10, 1926, in Swift Current, Saskatchewan. Left to forever cherish her is her husband, Jake, the love of her life for 62 years; her seven children, John (Lorna), Wayne (Loretta), Janice (Tony), Brian (Carolyn), Rob (Deb), Randy, Lisa (Rick); and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Helen came from a large family of three brothers and seven sisters. She was a dedicated wife and mother, and provided unconditional love and support to her children and grandchildren. Helen spent many joyous moments gardening, cooking, baking, and was Jake's proud partner playing their favorite card game of Kaiser. A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, November 30 at 2:00 p.m. at Springs Church, 595 Lagimodiere Blvd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Kidney Foundation of Manitoba.
