Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOSEPH MAGNUS (JOE) CONTOIS Joe was born on November 29, 1931 in Shortdale, MB and passed away on November 22, 2011, in the Gateby Care Residence, at the age of 79 years. Joe will be lovingly remembered by his wife Vera, to whom he was married for 52 years; five daughters, Gail Contois of Vernon, BC, Joanne (Dennis) Tom of Winnipeg, MB, Darlene Contois of Salmon Arm, BC, Jacqueline (Howard) May of Kimberley, BC and Maxine Fontaine of Winnipeg, MB; 15 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and numerous extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, Magnus and Margaret Contois; one brother, Percy Contois; one sister, Georgina George, and one granddaughter Jennifer Contois. The Funeral Service was held at Bethel Funeral Chapel on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. with Reverend Father Dale Normandeau officiating. Cremation followed. Funeral arrangements were made with BETHEL FUNERAL CHAPEL LTD., 5605 - 27th Street, Vernon, BC V1T 8Z5 250-542-1187
