JEANNE MARION (nee KASUN) It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeanne Marion on Tuesday, November 29, 2011, at the age of 79 years. Left to cherish her memory is her husband Fern, the sunshine of her life for 56 years; their five children: Mike, his children Crystal (Jeff Grela), Joel (Jane) and their child Sophie, Marcia (Bruce Tait), their children Charles and Andrew, Theresa (James Lavoie) and their children Annick, Julien, and Amélie, Denis (Jo-Anne) and their children Patrick (Mélanie) and Chantal, Sylvia (Anita Dion), grandchildren Katrine Fisette (Kyle Harris), Nicholas Fisette. She is also mourned with love by her first born daughter Linda Hatton. She is survived by her brothers Leo and Maurice Kasun and her sister Sylvia Godbout. She was predeceased by her parents Michael and Barbara Kasun, daughter-in-law Margaret, and daughter Barbara Fisette. Jeanne was a dedicated wife and mother, providing unconditional love and support to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. We would like to thank the staff at the Misericordia Place Personal Care Home for their compassionate and loving care. Prayers will take place at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons Street at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 2. The funeral service will be held at the St. Vital Roman Catholic Church, 1629 Pembina Hwy. on Saturday, December 3 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to The Stroke Recovery Association of Manitoba Inc., B-247 Provencher Blvd., Winnipeg, Manitoba R2H 0G6 or to the Misericordia Place Personal Care Home, 44 Furby St., Winnipeg, Manitoba R3C 2A1.
