PETER STEPHEN BONKOWSKI November 26, 1937 November 28, 2011 Peacefully on November 28, 2011, Peter Bonkowski, of Arborg, passed away at the age of 74 years. Born in Ledwyn, MB, predeceased by his father Peter; mother Anastasia; brothers, Stanley and Stevie. Survived by his wife of 38 years, Jackie; his sisters, Eva, Anne and Mary; and her husband George Hrycak. Peter worked for Canada Post from 1965 to 1995. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, gardener and poet. At his request, cremation has taken place and no service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Peter to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
