BEVERLEY JOYCE PERRY (POSTLEWAITE) (nee LOWDEN) 1937 - 2011 Peacefully, with her loving family holding her, Bev passed away at the Riverview Health Centre on December 1, 2011. Lovingly remembered by her husband Eric, children Susan Montgomery (Glen), Dean Postlewaite (Michelle), grandson Brett, Brett's mother Monique, sister Roberta, brothers Murray and Colin (Mary), cousin Graeme Lowden (Joyce) and many cousins, nieces and nephews and their children. Bev will also be missed by her special friends Helga Bruenger, Judy Lynne Warnock, Lydia Desremiens and John and Mary Funk. Bev made many friends who will dearly miss her. She worked all her life in a variety of places, including Grace Hospital, Mall Medical Centre, and Dr. Neil McCaughey. Following retirement, she volunteered at Meals on Wheels which she continued to deliver after her diagnosis in 2008. Her home and her garden were a great source of pride to her. Her door was always open and ready for company. Bev took great interest in all her family's activities, especially her grandson Brett, whose hockey and soccer games she never missed. Brett was the light of her life. Thank you to Dr. Gary Harding, Kristie Morydz and Gina Sunderland at CancerCare Manitoba and to the caring staff at 3E Riverview. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations to CancerCare Manitoba, Meals on Wheels or to The Winnipeg Humane Society would be appreciated. But the sea was a narrow one, and on the furthest shore A little band of friends had gathered to watch in happy expectation. Suddenly they caught sight of the tiny sail. At the very moment when my companion had whispered she is gone , A glad shout went up in joyous welcome with the words Yes! Here she comes! 1839 Inkster Blvd. 275-5555
