MARGARET MCMULLIN November 11, 1913 - December 7, 2011 Margaret passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at Riverview Health Centre, age 98 years. MARGARET (MARGE) MCMULLIN (nee POLISCHUK) It is with great sadness, but in appreciation of a long life well-lived, that the family announces the peaceful passing of Margaret at Riverview Health Centre on December 7, 2011, at the age of 98 years. Marge was born in Williamstown, Pennsylvania but lived most of her life in Winnipeg. She was preceded in death by her husband Herbert in September 1984, brothers Stephen and Joseph, and daughters-in-law Doreen and Helen. Marge is lovingly remembered by her sons Herbert and Dennis (Cathie), and daughter Barbara (Marshall) Johnston; grandchildren Sandra, Shannon (Dan), Douglas (Wendy), David (Jody), Deanne (Randy), Jill (Al), Amy (Stephen); great-grandchildren, Julianna, Alexandria, April, Candise, Tyler, Sara, Jesse, Hudson, Fisher, Charlotte, and Luke; great-great-grandchildren Noah, Jack, and Zeke; brother Peter (Sophie), sister Ann, and numerous nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will gather at Brookside Cemetery for a graveside tribute on Monday, December 12, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. A Memorial Service will follow at 11:30 a.m. from Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Boulevard with Reverend Lynette Miller officiating. Family and friends are invited to stay for a reception following the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marge's memory may be made to Palliative Care Donations, c/o Health Sciences Centre Foundation, 820 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3A 1R9 or to a charity of choice. The family wishes to thank the Palliative Care program and particularly Nurse Alma for care and support over the last four weeks.
