GIUSEPPINA MASTROBUONO (nee IANNARELLA) Giuseppina Mastrobuono Josie born January 25, 1928, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2011. She was predeceased by her husband Salvatore, sister Giovanna, and brother Antonio. Mom leaves behind her son, Michele (Darlene), grandchildren, Joleen and Sandy (Wendy), step- grandchildren, Jodi (Al), Stephen (Britny) and Attyah, great-grandchildren, Colin, Phoenix and Connor, her brothers, Michele (Giovanna) and Mario (Idia), as well as numerous nieces and nephews, who loved her dearly. Mom was born in Italy and arrived in Toronto in 1955 with her husband and son. She moved to Winnipeg after her husband's passing in 2003, where she resided with Michele and Darlene, until she moved into a nursing home. Mom was always a positive person. She battled and won her fight against colon cancer 27 years ago, along with other ailments throughout the years. She worked hard as a seamstress at Tip Top Tailor's and very much enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She loved to cook and feed everyone who came by. Mom was a devout Catholic and read her Italian bible many times a day. We all loved mom and she will be greatly missed. May she rest in peace. Viewing and service of remembrance will take place on December 10, 2011 at 9:00 a.m., at Thomson In The Park , 1291 McGillivray, with Father Sam Argenziano presiding.
