Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOSEPH BOCKSTAEL At the Civic Hospital on December 7, 2011 at the age of 87. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Carmel and his dear children Gerald, Robert (Catherine) and Claudette (Dan). His grandchildren Matthew, Henry and Kessya will certainly miss Grandpa. The family loss is extended to his brother Robert (Marietta) of St. Boniface and his sister Jeanne Decruyenaere (Edward) of Calgary. He is survived by his sisters-in-law Yvette Turenne (Albert) of St. Boniface, Claudette Hollands of Edmonton and Jacquie Mitchell of Winnipeg. He was predeceased by his daughter Jo-Anne and his brother George. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Joe was a graduate in Civil Engineering from the University of Manitoba. His last posting was as Director of Works for the City of Gloucester. Joe was an active member at the Annunciation of the Lord Parish and a longtime member of the Legion of Mary and the Knights of Columbus. The family thanks the medical teams and staff at the Civic Hospital for their compassion and dedication. Friends are invited to visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road (at Aviation Parkway), Ottawa on Sunday, December 11 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Annunciation of the Lord Parish, 2414 Ogilvie Road, Ottawa on Monday, December 12 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Shepherds of Good Hope, 233 Murray Street, Ottawa, would be greatly appreciated.
