ADA BRYAN Peacefully, on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at the Red River Personal Care Home, Ada Bryan, aged 99 years of Selkirk, beloved wife of the late Archie. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 17 at 2:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel in Selkirk. Full obituary to follow in Fridays paper. ADA BRYAN (nee BAKER) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ada Bryan (nee Baker). Ada left us peacefully in her sleep on December 14, 2011 and has gone to be with the Lord. Ada is survived by her sister Grace Neuman; children Bev, Jean, Garth and Pat. She also leaves behind 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Ada was predeceased by her husband Archie, two infants, parents Walter and Annie Baker, siblings Walter, Fred, Jane, Martha, Alvin as well as son-in-law Lou Suknacki and daughter-in-law Evelyn Bryan. Ada was born in Manitogan, MB. She lived in Bissett for many years where she raised her children. When the mine in Bissett closed in the 1960s Ada moved to Selkirk enjoying over four decades there. A memorial service will be held at Gilbart Funeral Home in Selkirk on Saturday, December 17 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Deborah Vitt officiating. The Bryan and Suknacki families would like to thank everyone at Red River Place for all they've done for Ada and for helping her and her family in her final days.
