STELLA (STEPHANIE) BABALUK July 13, 1923 - December 16, 2011 It is with great sadness that we announce Stella's passing, peacefully in her sleep at Seven Oaks General Hospital. Stella is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years, Aleck, sons and daughters-in-law John and Shirley, Gary and Norine, Dan and Janet; grandsons Neil and fiancée Pat, and Marc; brother Henry (Florence), sister Rose, sister-in-law Kay and nieces and nephews. Born in Winnipeg (Old Kildonan), Stella lived the majority of her life in St. Andrews where she raised her family and volunteered in the community. She was a long time member of St. Andrew's on the Red Anglican Church. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards with friends and later in life learned to swim and golf. Her grandsons were very special to her. She took great pleasure in spending time with them, watching their hockey and baseball games, attending their school events and celebrating their achievements. A private family celebration of her life will be held at a later date. We would like to thank the medical staff at Seven Oaks General Hospital and Kildonan Medical Centre for the care and support she received.
