PEGGY LEE SACCO It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Peggy Sacco on Friday, December 16 2011. Peggy will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of 36 years Tony Sacco, her children: Anthony and Dean (Rachel). Peggy also leaves to mourn her brother Terry Orpin (Karen), father-in-law Giueseppe Sacco, sisters-in-law Richetta Ferlaino (Frank), Alba Pinder (Ken), Inessa Bonneteau (Danny), brothers-in-law Phil Sacco (Colette), Joe Sacco (Sandra) and numerous nieces and nephews. Peggy was predeceased by her parents Alfred and Hilda Orpin and her mother-in-law Domenica Sacco. Peggy was born on September 23, 1956 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She grew up in Fort Rouge attending Riverview elementary and Churchill high school. In her first year of high school, she met the love of her life and went on to marry in 1975. Peggy and Tony went on to raise two wonderful sons. She was extremely proud of her boys and their accomplishments and just as proud of her daughter in law. Peggy was strong, courageous and at times fearless. She was a selfless person who always put others before her. In her 55 years, she touched many peoples lives, created many friendships and will leave a void in many peoples hearts. If you had the privilege of knowing Peggy, she was a dedicated wife, sister, aunt, godmother and friend. Peggy will truly be missed and her life will be celebrated for years to come. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Orpin, Andrew Orpin, Vince Ferlaino, Tony Ferlaino, Doug Pinder and Brad Haacke. The family would like to extend sincere thanks and gratitude to Dr Ian Maxwell and the Oncology team at the Victoria General Hospital. A Memorial service will be held Thursday, December 22 2011 at 11:00 am in the Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Peggy's memory to the Victoria General Hospital Foundation. It's coming up 3 years since you have been, words cannot begin to describe how much I miss you. I was thinking about you all night last night crying, laughing at the good times we had, and so angry that I can't talk to you. It's so hard to just get over your passing. Out of all the friends and family who have passed in my life, yours is the toughest most upsetting I have been through. I am so angry with I couldn't get to say goodbye, have one last laugh, one last cry, one last hug, one last everything with you. I need my damn closure! Brody is so big, you would have loved him and he would have adored you. Things just aren't the same with you gone. I hope you're watching down on us. Until we meet again. Rest in peace Aunty. Two years have past since you left us. The holidays aren't the same without you. I miss the jokes, the laughter, and all the practical jokes you'd play on everyone. Peggy, we truly miss and love you. Until we meet again, with love from REE. - Posted by: Richetta Ferlaino (sister-in-law) on: Dec 17, 2013

I can't believe a year has past already. Words can not justify how much I miss you. Your smile, our jokes, the laughter you brought into the room with you, no one is ever going to be able to replace that. I miss you so much and there is not a day that goes by that I don't think of you Aunty. See you on the other side, rest in peace.❤❤xo - Posted by: Shannon Haacke (Goddaughter / Niece) on: Dec 19, 2012

I always wonder where my friend Thelma went to as you were not supposed to go ahead of me but we were to go together. Like best friends do. There is not a moment that I do not think of you, about our laughs and our cries together. I miss that so much. But I know my friend that you will be there to greet me with open arms when it is my time, and we can laugh, dance and do everything we used to do to have fun. I just cannot believe it is one year already, But it will be another year that I will not miss a moment of thinking of you, and imagining you here listening to your laugh. See you eventually. Louise....LOL Deans joke. Val - Posted by: Valerie Haacke (Friend) on: Dec 16, 2012
