  • Uncle Gerry and I have been going to see Aunty together since 2005. It always brought a smile to her face when see saw Uncle Gerry. He would tease her sometimes which would elicit an "Oh Gerry, stop that" which would bring a laugh to him. I guess sibling teasing never stops. :) Recently it was my pleasure to bring my little boy to see her, which brought out her maternal side. Kendal was great with her too as he is with Uncle Gerry. She remarked with much amazement that Kendal was so strong. On most visits to see Aunty I would bring her tidbits to munch on and some pretties to look at. She dearly loved her Angel collection. There was one small angel she took particular attention to which required me to bring home from time to time to repair. She would hold it in bed when she napped, I know because I saw her with it a few times when we went to visit. On a few occasions I told Aunty Terry that her Nanaimo squares were the best I'd ever tasted and can state to this day remains so. Uncle Gerry, Kendal and I will miss her dearly. Your final rest is at hand and your journey to be with the rest of the family who has passed is done. With much love Jackie, Uncle Gerry and Wee Kendal. - Posted by: Jackie Courteau (niece) on: Jan 02, 2012
