Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKEITH SIMMONS It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of Keith Simmons on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at the St. Boniface Hospital. Keith will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 55 years, Joan; Pat (Ken) Farquhar; his children: Keith and Katie of Birtle, Manitoba, Grant (Kathleen) and their daughters Hana and Quinn of Gibsons, British Columbia. He was predeceased by his daughter, Gail in 2008. He was born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan on February 8, 1928. After Keith graduated he joined Canada Packers where he worked for 41 years as an accountant in their Moose Jaw, Timmins, Sault Ste. Marie and Winnipeg branches and eventually retired in 1987. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held for Keith in Birtle, Manitoba at a later date. My memories of Keith which stem primarily from my childhood, are vivid. I remember him as a quiet, thoughtful man with a gentle and kind nature and with whom I felt very comfortable.
