REAL FONTAINE 1941 - 2011 Mr. Réal Winston Joseph Fontaine passed away in Winnipeg on Wednesday, December 28, 2011, at the age of 69 years. Réal was born on December 29, 1941 in St. Boniface, Manitoba. Réal had a long and varied 33 year career with the Federal Public Service of Canada and nine years in the Civil Service of the Province of Manitoba, where he retired. Réal, in his leisure time, could be found gardening and carrying out various home maintenance projects. Réal leaves his three sons, Robert, Patrick and Matthew, as well as his siblings Thérèse, Marie, Roméo, Lucien and numerous nieces and nephews. Réal was predeceased by his father Eugène Fontaine, his mother Alice (Caron) Fontaine, sisters and brothers Béatrice, Eugènie, Izabelle, Léo and Louis. In respecting Réal's wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held. Interment of the cremated remains took place at the St. Boniface Cemetery.
