HELEN HILDEBRAND (nee HIEBERT) June 2, 1948 - January 6, 2012 Following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, Helen Hildebrand (nee Hiebert) peacefully passed away at 6:45 p.m. on January 6, 2012, at the age of 63 at the Seven Oaks Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Helen was born on June 2, 1948 in Winkler, MB, to Abe T. Hiebert and Elizabeth Hiebert (nee Friesen). Helen lived in Stonewall, MB with her husband Wayne Hildebrand. Helen leaves to mourn the loves of her life, husband of 42 years Wayne Hildebrand and son Jarad Hildebrand, sister Mary (Norm) Toews, Brothers, Dan (Hilda) Hiebert, Tim (Liz) Hiebert. Sister-in-law Ruth Hiebert, stepmother Mary Hiebert (nee Hamm), as well, nieces Bridgette (Kent and sons T.J. and Jeff), Olivia and Clairessa, and nephew Steve (daughter Kai) and stepsiblings and their respective families. She was also predeceased by her father-in-law Henry Hildebrand, and still left to mourn is her mother-in-law Helen, brother-in-law Jack and sisters-in-law Carol (daughter Shauna) and Conny (Del and children Tyler, Eric and Amy). Helen was predeceased by her mother, Elizabeth Hiebert (nee Friesen), her stepmother Anne Hiebert (nee Janzen), her father Abraham T. Hiebert, and recently her brother Jake Hiebert of Morden, MB. We want to express our sincere appreciation for the care and compassion given to Helen by all staff on the 5th floor at Seven Oaks Hospital and the doctors from the Kildonan Medical Clinic. Funeral service for Helen Hildebrand will be held at the New Life Baptist Church in Stonewall, 6106 E Highway 67, on Thursday, January 12, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Flowers can be sent directly to the funeral home or donations can be made to the Terry Fox Foundation, 543 St. Mary's Rd.
