Uncle Trevor, you truly were a brilliant and comforting soul. You were always so encouraging and had a way of making your family feel loved and accepted. I don't know if I would be here today if it was not for you saving me from drowning out at grandma's cabin when I was quite young. You will always be with me in spirit, and will never be forgotten for a moment for everything you were able to acomplish in live as an individual. You are someone I have always and will continue to look up to as a role model. I still can't believe you're gone.... I love you uncle Trevor, and my condolences are with everyone sharing the feelings of sorow and emptiness. "RIP UNCLE TREVOR" Until we meet again .......... - Posted by: Jeremy Montebello (Nephew) on: Jan 24, 2012

Uncle Trevor was a good man. He was genuine, a good father and a wonderful person. Our family will miss him very much. I will always remember spending time at the lake with Uncle Trevor, Auntie Janice and the kids and visiting them at their house in Norwood. My Dad (Rick Rees) loved his family dearly, especially his siblings, and got great pleasure from every moment we got to spend with our cousins and Aunts and Uncles. After my Dad passed away, Uncle Trevor always reminded me of my Dad, and that always gave me comfort. Rest in peace Uncle Trevor, I know you are in a better place where pain and sorrow don't exist. - Posted by: Shannon Alexanderson (Niece) on: Jan 21, 2012

Our dearest Uncle Trevor was an amazing man.He accomplished many things in his life as well as overcoming many obsticles. He was so kind to accept the challenge of being the M.C at my wedding in 2005 and did the most amazing job.I am forever greatful to him for that.I have many fond childhood memories...Christmas dinners at their place in Norwood, babysitting for him and Auntie Janice(when the boys were small of course)and some more recent memories which include him visiting B.C when my kids were small and going to Sunset beach in the summer of 2006 (i believe)to reminess about old times at the lake with Grandma and Grandpa Lamy. I know he is at peace in heaven, finally getting to be with his beautiful daughter Andrea, brother Rick, and his parents. Rest in Peace Uncle, give Grandma a kiss for me and tell her we love her. All our love to his children, my amazing cousins, im so very sorry we couldnt make it to the service BUT we will see you very soon. xo - Posted by: Crystal (Niece) on: Jan 19, 2012

I have many fond memories of growing up with Trevor in Norwood. I remember him as always having a cheerful smile and attitude. A real good guy to be around. Our lives took us in different directions, but he was a person you don't forget. He showed a lot more discipline than me when it came to Sea Cadets. Our deepest condolences to Trevor's Family. I know he will be sadly missed. - Posted by: Bill and Diane Hicks (Childhood Friend from Lyndale Drive) on: Jan 18, 2012

I will miss my uncle Trevor, him and uncle Rick were the smartest and most interesting people I have ever met. Trevor's passing was very devastating to the family and friends of my wonderful uncle Trevor, but now he is in a better place and at peace with himself. Good-bye uncle Trevor I will miss you till the day I get to see you again. - Corey - Posted by: Corey Montebello (nephew) on: Jan 17, 2012

It was my pleasure to have met Trevor through his sister Laura. He was an amazing man that will be missed very deeply. At a very tragic time in my life, Trevor took the time to write a kind and inspiring letter to me and sent along with it an inspirational gift that said "FAITH". I kept this small item close by so that when I felt like giving up....I remembered to have FAITH. Thank you Trevor! My thoughts and prayers are with his children and family.
