DARLENE CAROLL PEDWELL April 30, 1940 - January 15, 2012 After a short but brave battle with cancer, Darlene passed away surrounded by loved ones in the Selkirk General Hospital. Darlene was born in Clavet, SK, and raised in Flin Flon, MB. She raised her family in Snow Lake, MB and later retired in Selkirk, MB. She is survived by her husband Milt, of 52 years, son Curtis (Jenny), daughter Lynn (Tom) and four grandchildren, Katelyn, Taylor, Corrie and Sarah. She was predeceased by her parents Corrie and Anne Lynn, and brother Keith. Darlene was a beautiful, caring mother, sister, aunt, niece and friend. Darlene has many friends that will miss her warmth and wonderful sense of humour. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, January 19 at 4:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel in Selkirk, MB with Rev. Brad Elliott officiating. Interment of ashes will follow the service in the St. Clement's Columbarium. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made to the charity of your choice. DARLENE CAROLL PEDWELL Peacefully on Sunday, January 15, 2012, at the Selkirk General Hospital, Darlene Pedwell, aged 71 years, of Selkirk, MB, beloved wife of Milt. A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2012, at 4:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Brad Elliott officiating.   • Milt-- I am so sorry to hear of Darlene's passing. I have been asking everyone if they had heard from her at Christmas. So I finally got my daughter to google her and learned of her passing just now tonight. It makes me sad..... Clifford and I SEND OUR CONDOLENCES............ Big hugs to you Milt....
