ARTHUR PAYMENT Peacefully on Thursday, January 19, 2012, Arthur passed away at ActionMarguerite-St. Boniface (Taché Centre) at the age of 80 years. Arthur was born in Elie, Manitoba, the seventh child in a family of nine children. He is survived by his sister, Hélène (Aldin) and his brother, Roger (Valerie). Always a special man, Arthur worked in a sheltered workshop and at McDonald's for a period of time. He was an honorary member of the Knights of Columbus and was able to travel to Disneyland where he was happy to have his picture taken with Mickey Mouse. Arthur had a strong faith in God. Popular and always smiling, with a gentle heart, Arthur was well known in the community of St. Boniface, making friends wherever he went. He came to live at ActionMarguerite-St. Boniface (Taché Centre) in November 2007 and was active within the facility, especially attending Goldeyes' baseball games as well as many other activities. Arthur's family would like to thank the staff on Unit 4 ABC for their loving care of Arthur. Funeral mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 24 at the St. Boniface Cathedral, 190, avenue de la Cathédrale.
