ANGELA EILEEN PODBOROCHYNSKI (nee TZAR) November 13, 1927 - January 25, 2012 With great sadness we announce the passing of Angela Eileen Podborochynski of Arborg, Manitoba, Wednesday, January 25, 2012. She was predeceased by an infant at birth, husband Steve, sister Bernice (Mike) Skwarek, parents Anne and Mike, brother-in-law Joe Woychyshyn. Left to cherish Eileen's memory is her son Gary, daughter Gail (Cliff) Skibinski, daughter Wendy (Alvin) Rutchka, sister Diane Woychyshyn, brother Joe (Diane) Tzar, grandchildren Melissa, Lindsay, Ashley, Mark, Kyle, Kody, Cole; great-granddaughter Kalli, and numerous nieces and nephews. Eileen was raised on the family farm in Silver, MB and when she married in 1947 they moved to farm in Meleb, MB. After Steve died in 1995, she moved to Arborg in 2000, where she always looked forward to visits from family and friends and especially her grandchildren. Nobody left Baba's without a full stomach. Thank you to the staff at Percy E. Moore Hospital for the support at this difficult time. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, 2nd Avenue, Arborg, MB. Interment will take place at Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Meleb, MB. The grandchildren will be the pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Eileen's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
