• I met Robert back in the early 1970's on the CB Radio. I remember visiting Robert one time in HSC when he broke his leg in a snow mobile accident. Robert always enjoyed using the CB Radio and met many other people through this mode of communication. It is too bad that his time with us was cut short too soon. • I met Robert in the early 90s and we quickly became friends. He had such a wonderful personality. We shared many laughs and stories together over coffee. I eventually left Selkirk and as is often the case we lost contact with each other. Despite that I often thought of him. • I met Robert in 1990, he was a awesome friend. Robert and I worked together at Assinniboia Downs as security guards. We had great shifts catching loose horses in the barns. Robert and I drank alot of coffees at Robin's Donuts on Main Street, laughing till the wee hours of the morning. • I grew up next door to the West family on Robinson Ave in Selkirk. I have lots of great memories of playing with Robert as a kid and if it had not been for Roboo (nickname) I would not have met my husband of 33 years. Robert you will be sadly missed.
