Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBARBARA REID (nee WHITE) 1912 - 2012 Barbara passed away peacefully on Friday, January 27, 2012, at the Red River Personal Care Home in Selkirk. She celebrated her 100th birthday on January 7, 2012. She is survived and lovingly remembered by her daughter Marguerite (Bill Chrustie); son Walter (Asa); daughter Shirley Holyk; son Delbert (Louise) and sister Mary. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; as well her nieces, nephews and friends. Barbara was predeceased by her husband, George, sister Ruby, brothers, Alex and Raymond and son-in-law Paul. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held in the spring in Souris, Manitoba with interment in Elgin, Manitoba. The family sincerely thanks Red River staff and Dr. Lindenschmidt for their excellent and compassionate care. We will cherish the memories of a loving mother.
