FERN ROSKY On Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at the Red River Place Nursing Home, Fern Rosky, aged 92 years passed away. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 16 at 2:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk. Full obituary to follow. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.

  • We can taste the cabbage rolls, perogies, and oatmeal cookies that Fern made with such love and care. She always handed our girls a toonie at family gatherings.   • Very sorry for the loss of your mom. I am thankful for times we had(Allan, brothers Dave and Ron Loutit), to be able to entertain at Red River Place for your mom and friends. Your family has lost not only a mother, sister, aunt and grandmother but, also fellow musician. The memory of Fern, pounding the ivories for your dad, will be forever etched in my mind. Fern and your dad (Alex} added so much color to the wonderful and diverse culture of the Lockport area. Thank our creator for wonderful gift of music.
