Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • I have so many memories of the Bonners! Our families would get together for dinners . . . I especially remember eating Chili Con Carne in their back yard! They took me to see The Sound of Music at Grant Park Theatre. I can hear Ted saying, "that's swell", or "oh say"! Rae would call him Teddy. Wonderful memories, wonderful people! - Posted by: Joan MacCutcheon (God Daughter) on: Feb 29, 2012

  • Ted and Rae were a huge part of the lives of all the Shelfords. They were there on picnics, where Ted introduced me to pickles, there were there on New Year's Eve, when Glad and Reg and Rae and Ted brought in year after year together and Elaine and I watched, for awhile. They were there at weddings--Ted gave the toast to the bride at mine. He will live in my memory for as long as I live. I can hear his voice: "Gosh, Golly, Barbie." I know Rae is making him happy again. A lovely man and a lovely couple! - Posted by: Barbara Shelford Robson (Goddaughter) on: Feb 20, 2012

  • Our deepest sympathies go out to Ross and his family. You are in our thoughts and prayers. - Posted by: Tom & Jo-Anne Roberts & Family (cousins) on: Feb 19, 2012

  • We have not been in contact with Ted for quite a few years but we do remember him well. He was always a very kind and gentle man and will be missed. - Posted by: Tom & Jo-Anne Roberts (Cousin) on: Feb 19, 2012
