I met Emily only once during the summer of 1979 when I attended a Social in Winnipeg for her family member. I remember her as being very much loved by her family as well as being excited about the social. Leon and family, I am sorry to hear of your loss. I too had lost a family member on that very same day and can understand the loss you felt that day. You were all blessed to have a mother like Emily. Maureen a.k.a. Thank you Emily for opening up your busy home to us children. I remember helping Ginny with a stack of ironing. You opened your home to my after wedding party. You raised beautiful children - it was so nice to see them all at your celebration of life service. You were truly honored on that day! - Posted by: Carol Sakwi (Beaconia neighbor) on: Apr 08, 2012
