PHILIP HOLDEN-RUSHWORTH 1929 - 2012 It is with great sorrow we announce the death of Philip. He will be greatly missed by his wife Val, stepdaughters Vicki (Don), Sarah (Russ), grandchildren: Simon, Christopher, Owen, Adam, Nicholas, Hannah and Samantha. Philip was born in Edmonton and with his family returned to England when he was two. He had an exciting and fulfilling career as a R.A.F. pilot and flying instructor on a variety of aircraft from Mosquitos to fast jets. Val and Philip chose to retire to Canada to be closer to their family. At Philip's request cremation has already taken place. Flowers are gratefully declined. In lieu, donations may be made to Ward 5E Internal Medicine Fund at the St. Boniface General Hospital, or Riverview Health Centre Palliative Care Fund. We would like to thank the caring and compassionate staff on both wards. On Sunday, March 4 at 288 Wellington Cres. from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., there will be a remembrance of the interesting gentleman who was Philip.
